I kind of stopped writing in my blog for a while, because after the whole stupid incident where I had to get rid of my old blog because people were using it for bad reasons… after that, I started this new blog a while later, but I felt like nobody was reading it so I stopped. But I’m gonna try to write in it again and see what happens, now that all that stupid drama has been over for a year.
So if you want to know what’s new in my life… many things are still the same. Chuck is still my “bonus dad.” I spend most of my time at his house, when I’m not at work, or at home painting rocks and stuff. I call Chuck my bonus dad because he looks after me and helps me out. He’s my lifeline. If you used to read the old blog, you might remember him as Garth, but he said it was okay to use his real name.
Then there’s Jae, who is my best friend and fearless protector. He understands what it’s like to be lost in the world, and he never stops trying to find me. He’s also always good for fun adventures, like trying to look at an eclipse without eclipse glasses (and without an actual eclipse, it turns out,) building a swing or a fort in the woods, or making our own temporary tattoos with Sharpies.
I still hang out at the restaurant a lot, but not quite as much as I used to. The only real reason is because when it’s crowded there during dinner, I feel bad to be taking up a table sitting there coloring. When I first started going there, it was because I used to hang out outside the restaurant, and a few times people tried to bother with me, so my friends who work at the restaurant convinced me to hang out inside instead. But now I can hang out at Chuck’s house a lot, and I don’t always make it down to the restaurant before it closes! My rocks are always still there, though. And my friends. It’s still my favorite place, and I’ll probably hang out there more in the future, to give Chuck a break!
One good thing in my life is, I’ve started going to equine therapy, which is really helpful for me. Right now I’m in an eight week group therapy program, but hopefully after that I’ll either do another group, or have individual equine therapy, so I can keep seeing the horses. Being around animals is really calming for me!
I also have been going to the Recovery Cafe, which is sort of like a day center for people with all sorts of problems and crises. I have a recovery coach who is sort of like a peer counselor/case manager, and a weekly recovery circle which is like a support group. I also go there for other things, like the art group. Plus they serve lunch for free! I wish I had found it a long time ago!
Work is still really hard, and it takes all my strength just to go there and get through the measly three hours. I’m in the process of getting social security, but it might take a long time. I now have a diagnosis of PTSD on top of autism, adhd, depression and anxiety, so that might actually help.
I still have a lot of bad moments with abandonment feelings, anxiety, meltdowns, etc. But I also have a lot of good moments too!
I don’t know what else to write right now. Today I had my group at Recovery Cafe, and now I’m just at chuck’s house, hanging around waiting to go to the restaurant for dinner. It was a pretty good day. I can’t wait for spring to come so we can start gardening again!

Okay, I don’t have a smooth way to end this, so… byeeeee! Here are some Lunar New Year rocks for you to look at, by the way. 2024 is the year of the dragon!
